Verification data: for regulated products we may collect identity documents, BVN, or NIN details required by law to verify who you are.

Usage data: how you interact with our products and APIs — pages visited, features used, device and log information.

02How we use it

We use your data to operate and improve our services, verify identities where legally required, process transactions, provide support, and communicate product updates.

We do not sell your personal data. Marketing messages are only sent where you have consented, and you can opt out at any time.

03Sharing

We share data only where necessary: with regulated partners such as banks and NIBSS to process transactions, with infrastructure providers such as AWS and Contabo to host our services, and with authorities where the law requires it.

All processors handling data on our behalf are bound by contracts requiring equivalent protection.

04Security

We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, continuous monitoring, and regular audits, in line with our ISO 27001 information security practices. See our Security page for detail.

No system is perfectly secure; where we discover a breach affecting you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

05Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law — for example, transaction records that financial regulation obliges us to retain.

When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

06Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), you may request access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, deletion, restriction of processing, and withdrawal of consent.
